The Ride on Forgiveness by Jennie Ball Jackson A horse I didn't deserve from a God who loves me and wanted me to learn more about his Grace served with Unmerited Favor, garnished with Trust on a platter of Forgiveness.
One more ride down center line please.
You made me feel invincible, on top of the world, where no one could touch or harm me.
You carried me with such softness as if I was precious cargo. "Fragile", on front of my shirt it would read, "Handle with Care".
Your coat, that glistened like fine gold, drew people to you first. They all had to touch you, to see if you were real. As you performed, I desperately tried to stay out of your way and let you do what we practice.
My nerves (Never Yours) got in the way but your stoic mannerism always shined through my premature half halts and out of sync leg cues.
You were so much better to me than I was to you and for that you showed me unmerited favor and grace. Forgiveness should have been your name.
Oh Watchout, if I could only have one more ride down centerline... I would sit back and not rock the boat.
